Building maintenance staff at the Sheboygan County YMCA rely on our expertise to create a roofing plan. The Gymnastics Center
In June 2021, the Sheboygan Y’s gymnastics center was reroofed. All the surfaces were originally rubber roofs with a fine layer of stone on top. Not all roofing contractors will tackle these more challenging removal and reroof projects.
Protection Walk Mats
This close-up shows the Sheboygan gymnastics center reroof. Notice the yellow areas near the stairs. These are added protection walk mats so building maintenance staff can safely walk the roof, particularly in common access areas.
Specialized Slanted Roofing
The center of the Sheboygan building features a slanted roof over the east gym. The rubber/stone existing roof was in good condition so we only reroofed the slanted area; along with the roof to the left of it.
Expanding to Sheboygan Falls
A second county YMCA facility, located in Sheboygan Falls, shows the reroofed areas, completed over a two year timeframe, in white membrane.
