Whether you have a reroof project or a new building construction, Precision Roofing is the specialist in commercial and industrial flat roofs. The experts at Precision will take care of your complete project from proposal through completion.
Before a Roofing Project is Started
You may have budgeted or need to budget for a reroof. We will examine your current roof to prepare a report of the actual conditions and recommendation of the optimal solution for repair or replacement. Our complimentary proposal includes detailed measurements of your roof, materials required, and all the services to complete the installation.
After the proposal has been approved and signed we order the materials selected specific to your roofing project to ensure minimal waste and optimal fit. Included are all the components you’d expect such as pipe flashings, inside/outside corners, two-way vents, rooftop equipment flashings, drains, termination bars and edge details in a variety of styles.
During the Installation
The Precision team’s first priority is to set up per OSHA safety requirements to protect the crew, your employees, and the general public. We designate an area to supply the installation crew with materials while using the least amount of your space and assuring you can conduct business as usual. For many roofing projects, we install the membrane system over the existing roof, which saves time and the falling debris from tearing off the old roof. A project manager is available when you have questions. The length of time the project will require depends on the size, type, and specific details of your roof, but generally plan from one to two weeks.
Upon Completion of the Roofing Project
Precision’s installation crew carefully checks each seam as the final step. The membrane provider does a final inspection and the warranty goes into effect. The Precision Roofing team of experts has installed millions, and rapidly increasing, square feet of flat roofing with an average score of 98 out of 100 on quality installation.
We install a variety of roofing materials. Choose from PVC (polyvinyl chloride), EPDM (rubber), or TPO (thermoplastic polyolefin). Membranes are available in thicknesses ranging from 45 to 90 mil and are backed with a warranty up to 30 years that includes labor and materials. For all materials except EPDM, we heat weld all seams which provide peace-of-mind for architects, consultants, contractors and building owners/managers since they reduce installation errors.
Membranes expand and contract with temperature changes, eliminating the risk of roof leaks. When white is selected, the cool zone surface delivers outstanding reflectivity, which reduces energy costs. Most membranes have a number of other benefits including: watertight integrity, some of the highest Energy Star® ratings, don’t require solvents nor adhesive to install which can break down, are chemical resistant, withstand high winds and the harsh weather and temperature extremes of our area, and are virtually maintenance-free.
